Will my vehicle charger charge my phone if the vehicle is not running?
Car chargers will charge only when power is supplied to the plug.

Your car's 12 volt cigarette lighter jack may be wired in either of 2 ways:
1. Always powered You can charge your phone using the vehicle charger whether or not the car is running. The power light on your cord will illuminate even when the car is not running and no key is in the ignition.

2. Ingition switch powered You can charge your phone only when the key is in the ignition and the key is turned to "acc" or car is running. The power light on your charging cord will be off when your key is out, but will illuminate when the car is running. Your auto's wiring method is by design of the manufacturer. It may be customized or rewired by your dealership or mechanic at standard labor rates.

Are aftermarket products as safe and reliable as OEM products?
Accessory Highway products are guaranteed to be as safe and as reliable as its original counterpart. Our aftermarket cigarette lighter cords are built as an exact electrical match to the original equipment products. A one year warranty covers any defects in workmanship. Accessory Highway aftermarket batteries use high quality "A" cells and are covered by a one year warranty and many with a product liability insurance policy.

How do I know if my phone has Bluetooth technology?
Most mid to upper tier phones today include bluetooth wireless technology for convenient wireless handsfree use. To check if your phone has bluetooth, enter your phone menu and choose "tools" or "settings". You will notice "bluetooth" in one of these menus. You can also refer to your cell phone's manual and look for "bluetooth" on the feature listing.

What is pairing?
Bluetooth headsets arrive out of the box "unpaired". This means that the digital security code on the phone and headset do not match. In order for the phone to "talk" to the headset, you must pair the two devices to match both devices digital security codes.

My Bluetooth headset does not work, what should I do?
If you are having difficultly with a Bluetooth product, please consult the Bluetooth product manual as well as your phone's manual. Manuals may be available at your carrier's web site or the manufacturer site. The most common problem that purchasers have initially with a new Bluetooth headset is failing to enter “pairing” mode before attempting to pair it to the phone. Most headsets enter “pairing” mode when the talk button is depressed for 8 or more seconds after shutting off the device completely.

My battery does not work, what should I do?
If you are having trouble with a battery, please be sure to insert it into your phone correctly and connect your phone to a functioning home charger for 4-5 hours. Usually the first full charge in a battery does not last as long as future charges.

My Cigarette Cord does not work, what should I do?
If you are having trouble with a cord, please be sure to insert it into your phone correctly without forcing it. Try flipping the cord to the other side and inserting it. Make sure that the light on the car plug is illuminated. If not, push the cord farther into the cigarette lighter jack while the car is running.
